Syrian Military Delegation Reviews VISOR
Syrian Training and Doctrine Commander Brigadier General Abdurrahman Serhan and an accompanying military delegation reviewed and tested VISOR, the domestically developed shooting performance system by KMA Savunma. The visit explored its capabilities for evaluating shooting training through measurable data and its potential contribution to training programmes.
Data-Driven Shooting Training with VISOR
During the technical briefing, the delegation was introduced to VISOR’s shooting performance analysis, user statistics and progress tracking features. The team explained how data collected during shooting helps users assess their performance and identify areas for improvement.
The discussion also covered the system’s use in institutional training programmes as well as individual practice. Particular attention was given to how measurable results can support instructors’ assessments and help track personnel’s progress over time.
Delegation Members Experience VISOR First-Hand
Following the presentation, delegation members used VISOR themselves to observe how the system works and experience its interface. The practical demonstrations showed how shooting data is analysed and how results are presented to the user.
Throughout the demonstrations, the technical team provided detailed information about the system’s features, applications and adaptability to different training needs. The role of VISOR’s feedback in shooting training was assessed through hands-on use.
Training Needs and Opportunities for Cooperation
The visit included discussions about potential applications for VISOR in the Syrian army’s shooting training and readiness programmes. Meetings with officials responsible for training addressed compatibility with existing training infrastructure, different user requirements, technical support and sustainable training models.
The technical visit provided an important opportunity to introduce VISOR’s data-driven approach to shooting training to international users and explore possible areas of cooperation.
